Glazey – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all customers (“you”, “your”) who make use of the services, facilities, and activities provided by Glazey Ltd (“Glazey”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking, attending, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

1. General Information

 

1.1 Glazey Ltd is a registered company in the UK.

1.2 Our services include pottery painting, workshops, studio hire, and sale of refreshments.

1.3 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be published on our website.

 

2. Bookings

2.1 Bookings can be made online via our website, by phone, or in person.

2.2 A standard booking slot is 2 hours, unless otherwise stated.

2.3 The last booking must be made 2 hours before the closing time on that day. 

2.4 Customers must arrive on time for their booking. Late arrival may reduce your session time.

2.5 Tables are reserved for the number of people booked. Extra guests may not be accommodated without prior agreement.

 

3. Payments

3.1 A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking.

3.2 Deposits are non-refundable except in cases where Glazey cancels the session.

3.3 All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT (where applicable).

3.4 Payment methods accepted: cash, debit/credit card, and online payment systems.

 

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the booking for rescheduling.

4.2 Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future booking at our discretion.

4.3 No-shows or cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in loss of deposit.

4.4 In the event Glazey must cancel your booking, a full refund or reschedule will be offered.

 

5. Studio Rules

5.1 Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

5.2 Customers are responsible for supervising their children’s behaviour.

5.3 Food and drink not purchased at Glazey may not be consumed on the premises.

5.4 We provide refreshments such as coffee, tea, pre-packed cookies, and other snacks.

5.5 We ask customers to respect the studio environment, staff, and other guests.

 

6. Pottery Painting & Glazing

6.1 Finished items are glazed and fired by our team and will usually be ready for collection within 10 -14 days.

6.2 We will notify you when items are ready for collection. Items must be collected within 4 weeks. Uncollected items may be disposed of after this period.

6.3 While every care is taken, Glazey cannot be held responsible for kiln accidents (e.g., cracking, glaze imperfections, colour variations). Such outcomes are an inherent risk of pottery firing.

6.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring their painted pieces are clearly labelled with their name before leaving the studio. 

 

7. Liability

7.1 Pottery items, paints, and glazes are fragile. Customers must take care when handling studio materials.

7.2 Glazey is not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings while on the premises, except where caused by negligence on our part.

7.3 Customers use the studio facilities at their own risk.

 

8. Allergies & Health

8.1 Our refreshments are pre-packaged, and allergen information is available on request.

8.2 Customers are responsible for checking allergens before consuming food or drinks.

8.3 If you or your child have any allergies, please inform a member of staff before participating in activities.

 

9. Gift Vouchers & Promotions

9.1 Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.

9.2 Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.

9.3 Discounts and promotional codes cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.

 

10. Photography & Social Media

10.1 Glazey may take photographs or videos in the studio for promotional purposes.

10.2 If you do not wish to be included, please inform a member of staff before your session.

10.3 Customers may take personal photos/videos but must respect the privacy of others.

 

11. Complaints

11.1 We aim to provide a positive experience. If you are dissatisfied, please raise any concerns with a member of staff promptly.

11.2 Complaints can also be submitted in writing to our official email address.

 

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
